Jayanth Sridhar

Jayanth Sridhar has extensive experience in the field of ophthalmology. Jayanth currently serves as the Chief of Ophthalmology at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Professor at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute from August 2016. Before that, they were a Vitreoretinal Surgical Fellow/Clinical Instructor at Wills Eye Hospital from July 2014 to July 2016. Jayanth also had a residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute from July 2011 to June 2014 and worked as a Physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center from June 2010 to June 2011.

Jayanth Sridhar completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, General from the University of Miami in 2006. Jayanth then pursued Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and obtained their M.D. degree in 2010.
