Steve Lowrie

Steve Lowrie is an experienced IT professional with extensive expertise in healthcare information systems. Currently serving as the acting Departmental Chief Information Officer for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, Steve Lowrie plays a critical role in supporting medical and mental health providers within LASD jail facilities. Previous positions include Information Technology Manager and various roles at MemorialCare Health System, where responsibilities ranged from project management in revenue cycle systems to system administration and application development. Steve Lowrie also has experience managing development teams at NTT DATA Services and Hughes Aircraft Company, alongside a foundational education in Computer Science from El Camino College.
