Ganesan Ravishanker

Ganesan Ravishanker serves as the Chief Information Officer and Associate Provost at Wellesley College since November 2010, overseeing Library and Technology Services and the Registrar's Office, with a prior role managing the financial operations of the Provost's Office from 2017 to 2019. Ganesan began a consultancy in IT focused on higher education in January 1992 and collaborates with a spouse who specializes in statistical modeling. Previous positions include Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Pace University, Associate VP for Information Technology Services at Wesleyan University, and various roles supporting scientific computing at Wesleyan University. Ganesan holds an MA in Computer Science from Queens College, a PhD in Chemistry from Hunter College, and an MSc in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
