Lauren Franklin

Lauren Franklin is a dedicated professional with substantial experience in nonprofit management and human resources. Currently serving as a Management Fellow at the Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources, Lauren provides support to the Director of Personnel and Executive Managers. Previous roles include managing AmeriCorps programs for the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region, overseeing a team of 20 full-time members, and ensuring compliance and performance outcomes. As the Director of Volunteers for The Laurel Foundation, Lauren engaged and advocated for volunteers supporting families affected by HIV/AIDS. Other notable experiences include training community members in disaster preparedness and working as an Assistant Team Leader for AmeriCorps NCCC. Lauren holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State University, Fullerton.
