Edward Tessier

Edward Tessier is the director of Designs for Independence since 1989. He is also a consultant for numerous organizations on ADA and urban planning issues. He is president of JEVED Management, an urban real estate firm and helped design and develop Pomona Arts Colony and Emporia Arts District in downtown Ontario. He serves on the CTEC steering committee. He is president and founder of School of Arts and Enterprise, a State of California charter high school serving the IE and a trustee and educator at Western University for Health Sciences. Tessier serves on the advisory board of Center for Disability and is a guest lecturer on disability, cultural arts and economic development. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Pomona College, graduating summa cum laude.
