Azad al-Barazi

Azad Al-Barazi, OLY, currently serves as a firefighter with the Los Angeles County Fire Department since June 2007, where responsibilities include recruitment and training in the Lifeguard Division. Al-Barazi has also held roles as a Territory Sales Manager at Ecolab and Urban Barrels, consistently exceeding sales goals and managing significant budgets. As a professional swimmer and speaker for the International Olympic Committee from May 2005 to February 2020, Al-Barazi was a FINA ambassador, marketing lead for various sponsors, and a prominent speaker at events. Additional experience includes serving as a Sales Specialist for LA 2028 and as Charge d'affaires for a non-profit organization focused on refugee assistance in Greece. Azad holds a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
