Anya Hunter

Anya Hunter currently serves as the Senior Manager of Interpretation Education at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Previous experience includes roles as Education Faculty at Linn-Benton Community College, Graduate Lecturer at Colorado State University, and General Manager at Petco, where significant improvements in sales and employee retention were achieved. Anya has also held positions at Woodland Park Zoo, Denver Zoological Foundation, and the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Sea Center, demonstrating a strong background in educational program development, volunteer coordination, and animal care. Anya holds a Professional Science Master's degree in Natural Science with a focus on Zoo and Aquarium Management from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Further qualifications include completion of the Environmental Leadership Program at UCLA.
