Miguel Ordeñana IV

Miguel Ordeñana IV is a seasoned wildlife biologist with extensive experience in community science and conservation efforts. Currently serving as the Community Science Senior Manager at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County since April 2013, Miguel oversees programming that enhances scientific literacy and engagement with urban nature. Previous roles include Wildlife Biologist and Consultant with organizations such as Paso Pacifico and the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association, where Miguel contributed to significant projects, including jaguar conservation initiatives in Nicaragua and bat monitoring studies in urban environments. Miguel holds a Master of Science in Ecology from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Southern California.
