Dr. Tyisha Noise serves as the Project Director III for Racial Equity at the Los Angeles County Office of Education since June 2023, where responsibilities include providing supports and training to educational leaders and organizations focused on equitable systems and diversity. As the CEO and Founder of Urban Scripture since January 2019, Dr. Noise facilitates professional learning related to equity and trauma-informed practices while offering coaching and advisement. Previous experience includes roles as Middle School Principal at City Charter Schools and Assistant Principal at Green Dot Public Schools, with extensive teaching experience in special education across various institutions, as well as adjunct teaching in psychology. Dr. Noise holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University and several other degrees related to education and psychology from Pace University, Pepperdine University, and Cornell University.
