Hazel Naal

Hazel Naal is an experienced Head Start Program Manager in Interdisciplinary Services at the Los Angeles County Office of Education since October 2015, overseeing the Inclusive Early Education Expansion Program. Previous roles include serving as the Head Start Delegate Liaison Team Leader, where coordination with interdisciplinary specialists and management of delegate agencies occurred. As an Adjunct Faculty member at California State University, Los Angeles, Hazel instructed MSW students in advanced social work practice. Prior experience includes leadership in child mental health services at LAUP and Kedren Health Centers, focusing on program implementation, crisis management, and staff supervision. Additional roles involved consulting for educational environments and managing clinical services for survivors of domestic violence at Rainbow Services, Ltd. Hazel holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Social Work from California State University-Long Beach.
