Luis H. Ramirez serves as a Leadership Coach at the Los Angeles County Office of Education since August 2021. Previously, Ramirez was a Fieldwork Instructor at Loyola Marymount University and held the role of Policy Co-Coordinator at Trauma Informed LA, an organization focused on fostering resilient communities. Prior to these positions, Ramirez served as a principal at Culver City Unified School District, Oxnard School District, and Alliance For College-Ready Public Schools. Early career experience includes various roles, such as assistant principal and high school counselor, within the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, as well as serving as a classroom teacher. Ramirez holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Chicano Studies, both from California State University, Northridge.
