Maia Spotts

Maia Spotts is a Supervising Attorney at Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers, with extensive experience in legal writing, research, and trial support. Beginning a legal career as a Staff Attorney and progressing to Senior Attorney, Maia has been with Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers since November 2017. Prior to this, Maia contributed as a Senior Writer at the New York City Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice and as a Writing Fellow at the Vera Institute of Justice. Additional roles include legal research and content editing for various projects, alongside serving in a capacity as a Summer Associate at the New York Center for Juvenile Justice. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies from Yale University and a Doctor of Law from Southwestern Law School.
