Heather Culliton Varden

Heather Culliton Varden currently serves as the Deputy Mayor of Community Empowerment and Services Coordination for the City of Lancaster, focusing on community empowerment through networking opportunities. Previously, Varden held multiple positions at the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, including Community Relations Coordinator and Document Specialist. Varden also worked as the Deputy Mayor of Homelessness Initiatives for the City of Lancaster and as a Partnerships Coordinator for Valley Oasis. In addition, Varden was involved with the United Way of Greater Los Angeles as a Field Organizer and a member of the Homeless Engagement Team at the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority. Early career experience includes serving as an Operational Project Analyst at Bank of America.
