Thomas Hooten is an accomplished trumpet player with extensive experience in prominent orchestras. Currently serving as Principal Trumpet for the Los Angeles Philharmonic since September 2012, Thomas previously held the same position at the Atlanta Symphony from August 2006 to June 2012 and served as Assistant Principal Trumpet with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra from September 2004 to July 2006. Thomas earned a Master's degree in Trumpet Performance from Rice University, where studies took place from 1998 to 2000.
