Nicholas Beyelia

Nicholas Beyelia is a seasoned librarian currently serving as the Librarian for History & Genealogy at the Los Angeles Public Library since December 2015, responsible for providing reference and resource information related to the library's history and genealogy collection. Additionally, Nicholas has experience as an On-call Librarian, assisting patrons in utilizing library resources effectively. Prior roles include serving as a Margaret Herrick Resident at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where responsibilities involved cataloging and project management, and an Archivist at the Port of Los Angeles, focusing on processing and preserving archival materials. Nicholas also completed an internship at the Smithsonian Institution, processing graphic arts and photographs. A graduate of San José State University with a Master of Library & Information Science, and California State University, Los Angeles with a Master of Arts in History, Nicholas possesses a strong background in library sciences and archival work.
