Madelyn Dawson

Madelyn Dawson is an experienced writer and editor currently serving as a Fellow at the Los Angeles Review of Books Publishing Workshop since June 2025, following an editorial internship at the Los Angeles Review of Books where collaboration with senior editors enhanced content quality for a substantial online readership. Dawson has held leadership roles at Yale Broadcasting Company, including Director of Graphic Design and General Manager, where operational improvements and budget management were key responsibilities. Additionally, Dawson directed editorial efforts at The Yale Herald, overseeing print and online productions, mentoring writers, and contributing to various sections. Previous internships at SPIN and Paste Magazine involved writing feature-length pieces and album reviews for large audiences. Dawson holds a B.A. in English from Yale University, completed in May 2025, and has contributed to various publications, showcasing a strong background in arts and culture journalism.
