Charleen Pestana

Charleen Pestana has over 15 years of experience in the field of human resources. Charleen is currently working as the Human Resources Director at Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Cushman & Wakefield from January 2021 to March 2021.

From 2016 to 2020, Charleen worked at Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, where they held the role of Human Resources Manager from March 2017 to July 2020. Before that, they served as a Senior Associate from September 2016 to March 2017.

Charleen also has experience working in the tourism industry. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as an Executive Assistant to the President & CEO at VISIT DENVER The Convention & Visitors Bureau. Prior to that, they worked as a Tourism Program Specialist at Colorado Tourism Office from February 2010 to July 2011.

Charleen began their career at Paragon Biomedical, where they worked as an HR Specialist from April 2005 to October 2009. Paragon Biomedical was later acquired by Clinipace in September 2012.

Charleen Pestana has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. In addition, they have obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021. Charleen also has a Human Resources Management Certificate from Loyola Marymount University.
