Victoria Woo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Victoria has recently held the position of Director, Product Marketing at the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the same organization as Manager, Member & Partner Services from November 2020 to May 2022 and as Manager, dineL.A. from September 2019 to November 2020. Before joining the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, Victoria worked at The James Beard Foundation as an Awards Consultant, Awards and Events Manager, and Assistant On-Site Sponsor Activations Manager, Chefs & Champagne from 2016 to 2019. Victoria also worked as an Event Producer for Share Our Strength | No Kid Hungry in 2015 and as a Content Strategy Lead for Foodmento at Instagram from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Victoria has experience as a Pro Bono Advisor for Blessings in Bag, a Marketing Consultant for DBS Bank, and as a Pastry Chef for their culinary business from 2009 to 2013. Earlier in their career, they held roles at Citi, Guy Carpenter, and Mercer in various finance and analyst positions.
Victoria Woo holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. Victoria also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Actuarial Science from Baruch College. In addition, they hold a Certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts/Baker/Pastry Chef from the International Culinary Center.
