In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications, including OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety and Health from OSHA 10 Hour Training in 2019, a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) certification from the Los Angeles Fire Department in 2012, and a SKYWARN weather spotter certification from the National Weather Service - Baltimore/Washington Forecast Office in 2007.
