Sameer Sharma

Sameer Sharma has had extensive experience in the field of project management and operations. Sameer started their career as a Senior Engineer/ Area Manager at Waterman Group in 2006, where they successfully managed various infrastructure projects and developed strong client relationships. After that, Sameer worked as a Project Manager at the Highways Agency DOT, where they delivered large-scale highway and infrastructure works. Sameer then transitioned to a role as a Senior Consultant at AONE+ (Halcrow Colas Costain JV), where they provided commercial leadership and expertise on contractual disputes. Sameer also served as a Director at Sani Limited, overseeing operations from 2010 to 2014.

In 2011, Sameer joined the Highways Agency DOT again, this time as a Regional Commercial Manager. In this position, they managed and delivered multi-million dollar infrastructure projects and provided strategic advice for asset management contracts. Sameer then moved on to work as a Senior Project Manager for Prince George's County, Maryland, where they led change initiatives and managed maintenance/improvement projects.

Sameer's career continued to progress, and in 2016, they became a Consultant at Arup, specializing in dispute resolution advisory work and providing contract management training. Sameer then joined AtkinsRéalisis as a Director, where they held a leadership position.

Currently, Sameer is employed at Faithful+Gould as the Director of Operations, a role they took on in 2023. Prior to that, they were the Lead Project Manager at the same company. Additionally, Sameer has also worked at Los Angeles World Airports as a Commercial Lead and Project Controls Manager since 2019. Throughout their career, Sameer has demonstrated strong project management skills, leadership abilities, and a track record of successful project delivery.

Sameer Sharma completed a PgDip in Civil Engineering and Management from Coventry University in 2007-2008. Prior to that, they earned a BEng in Civil Engineering from Coventry University in 1999-2003. Sameer also holds additional certifications including membership in the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES), Prince 2 Practitioner from the Office of Government Commerce UK, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
