Luc Myers

Luc Myers is an experienced animal care and wildlife professional currently serving as an Animal Keeper at the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens since December 2022. Prior to this role, Luc worked as a Wildlife Biologist at Forde Biological Consultants and held the position of Animal Laboratory Technician I at the University of Southern California, where responsibilities included ensuring ethical treatment of animals during research. Luc's experience also includes a Field Intern role with the U.S. Geological Survey, focusing on the Giant Gartersnake Project, and a Student Intern position at the University of California, Davis, where practical skills in animal husbandry were developed. Additional roles include managing the Herpetology/Aquarium at Glendale Community College and researching at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Luc holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Animal Sciences from the University of California, Davis, earned between 2018 and 2020.
