Mike de Hamer

Mike De Hamer is an experienced engineer with a robust background in property engineering and loss prevention. Currently serving as an Engineer at Loss Control Services, Inc. since April 2022, Mike previously held the position of Senior Property Specialist at ACE USA Property Engineering. From 1995 to 2005, Mike was the Fire Chief at Weirton Steel, and from 1987 to 1992, worked as a Loss Prevention Consultant at Industrial Risk Insurers. Mike's early career included a role in Aviation Crash, Fire, and Rescue with the United States Marine Corps from 1977 to 1981. Academically, Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and furthered education at the University of Phoenix between 2002 and 2004.
