Pedro Penzuti Pacheco

Pedro Penzuti Pacheco is a data analyst who currently works at LotLinx. Prior to their current position, Pedro worked as a senior analyst at Canada Life from October 2018 to March 2022. In this role, they used data and analytics to explore new ways to support customer education and decision making in order to enhance the value provided by Canada Life. Pedro also identified areas of opportunity to conduct statistical analyses in order to provide clients with actionable insights. Additionally, Pedro built predictive claims models to forecast client's claim experience.

Before working at Canada Life, Pedro was a research assistant at the University of Manitoba in the Department of Plant Science from September 2016 to April 2017. Pedro was also an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Manitoba in the Department of Microbiology from September 2015 to December 2015.

Pedro has kept abreast of emerging trends in business analytics, focusing on the use of visualization to improve consumption of insights. Pedro has transformed data into insights using best practices in storytelling and data visualization, and shared these results directly with clients during in-person and virtual presentations in order to educate and aid in client decision making. Pedro is an excellent communicator and has presented their findings to key internal and external stakeholders through storytelling-focused annual presentations.

Pedro Penzuti Pacheco completed high school at Centro Educacional Charles Darwin and went on to study genetics at the University of Manitoba, where they earned their honours degree.
