Daniele Caliciotti

Daniele Caliciotti has a diverse work experience in the field of operations and technology governance. Daniele started their career at Lottomatica in 2017, where they held various roles such as IT Governance Specialist and IT Governance Expert, focusing on project management and demand management of strategic software development projects. Daniele then progressed to become the IT Governance Manager, responsible for technology budgeting, cost control, and project management. Caliciotti later became the Operations & Technology Governance Senior Manager, where they were in charge of budgeting, cost controlling, and project/program management. In their current position as the Operations & Technology Governance Director, they are responsible for overseeing budgeting, cost management, planning, project/portfolio/program management, demand management, PMO and reporting, as well as strategic projects and M&A processes for the Italian and international markets.

Before Lottomatica, Caliciotti worked at Soft Strategy, starting in 2014. Daniele began as a Junior Analyst, handling PMO activities for the functionality and UX/UI renewal of the company app for a major Italian telco operator. Daniele then moved on to the role of Business Analyst, where they supported top management in the digital transformation program and system integrator selection process for the implementation of a new digital IT stack. Caliciotti later became a Consultant, providing PMO activities for IT security architecture tender launches across 13 countries. In their final role at Soft Strategy, they served as a Senior Consultant, assisting in the Big Data Platform realization for a global telco operator.

Daniele Caliciotti completed their education in a chronological manner. Daniele first attended Liceo Scientifico Statale 'Benedetto Croce' from 2001 to 2006, where they earned their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering at Sapienza Università di Roma, graduating in 2011. Daniele later went on to obtain a Master's degree in Management Engineering from the same university, completing it in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Daniele Caliciotti also obtained two additional certifications. In September 2016, they achieved the ITIL® Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In March 2016, they earned the CAPM® - Certified Associate in Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute.
