Yaoqiang Li

Yaoqiang Li is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in infrastructure and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at LotusFlare since November 2020, Yaoqiang designed and implemented a novel hierarchical storage solution that significantly reduced costs for a TB volume database. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at BicDroid Inc., where Yaoqiang developed a cloud monitoring web app frontend, designed a MySQL database for IoT data processing, created a secure email client solution, and developed Windows and Linux kernel drivers. At Sober Steering, Yaoqiang was responsible for managing DigitalOcean droplets, performing system diagnostics, and authoring a critical C++ TCP server for data collection from embedded devices. Yaoqiang's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, complemented by a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Tsinghua University, respectively.
