Amber Pierce

Amber Pierce is an experienced educator and caregiver with a solid background in teaching and support roles. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Sussex Academy since August 2021, Amber previously worked as a nanny and remote learning aid for a private family and as a literacy tutor with The Literacy Lab. Earlier experience includes supporting individuals with disabilities at Easterseals and providing childcare for families during and after college. Amber holds a Teaching Certification from Western Colorado University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Pre-Law, and Practical Ethics from the University of Mary Washington. Additional educational experiences include attending the University of Deusto and Sweet Briar College.
