Alankar has an extensive background in trading, with a focus on sugar and coffee commodities. Currently serving as a Senior Trader for Sugar at Louis Dreyfus Company since March 2023, Alankar previously held the position of Sr Trader Sugar APAC at Golden Agri-Resources from December 2018 to February 2023, after the transition from RCMA. Prior experience includes roles as Trader for Sugar & Coffee at ED&F Man from September 2015 to November 2018, where trading encompassed white and raw sugar in various regions, and Junior Trader for Coffee at Louis Dreyfus Commodities from October 2013 to September 2015, which involved managing the P&L for India. Alankar's career commenced as a Trader Trainee at Stemcor, focusing on precision sourcing and shipment coordination, and earlier background includes a role as a Software Engineer at Fiserv in the BFSI domain.
