Mette Valentinussen Hou

Mette Valentinussen Hou currently serves as a member of Forbrugerklagenævnet, appointed by the Minister for Business following a recommendation from Dansk Industri. Mette also holds the position of Legal Counsel (Assistant Attorney) at Louis Poulsen since September 2022, and previously worked as an Advokatfuldmægtig and Koncernjurist at LB Forsikring from January 2019 to August 2022. Earlier experience includes roles as a Legal Assistant at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group and a Stud. Jur. in the Danish Business Authority focusing on market integration. Mette's early career features an internship at the Danish Embassy in Paris and student positions at HUGO BOSS and Nordea Private Banking. Mette’s academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Law from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Business Law from Université Panthéon Assas, alongside other law degrees from the University of Copenhagen. Mette was also a member of the DR Pigekoret as a second soprano from 2001 to 2011.
