Lanessa Elrod

President & CEO, Americas at Louis Vuitton

Lanessa Elrod has an extensive work experience in the luxury retail industry. Lanessa started their career at Neiman Marcus in 1997 as a Buyer for ready-to-wear clothing and held this position until 2003. Lanessa then joined Saks Fifth Avenue as a Buyer for ready-to-wear clothing until 2005. From 2005 to 2010, Lanessa worked at Bergdorf Goodman as a Senior Buyer for handbags and accessories. In 2010, they joined Louis Vuitton as the Director of Merchandising- Leather Goods, a role they held until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they served as the Vice President, GMM - Head of Merchandising at Louis Vuitton. Lanessa then moved up to become the Senior Vice President, U.S. Retail from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are the Zone President and CEO, Americas at Louis Vuitton, a position they have held since April 2017.

Lanessa Elrod attended the University of North Texas from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Merchandising.
