Hugh Tate

Hugh Tate possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as an Engineering Technician at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development since January 2017, Hugh previously held roles including Senior Technical Advisor at ExPert Landing Strings Solutions, where responsibility included managing a buoyancy modules technology application, and Directional Drilling Manager at ExPert E&P Consultants, contributing to the establishment of a directional drilling service group. Prior experiences include roles at Halliburton as a Directional Well Planner, Freeport McMoRan as a Production and Drilling Specialist and Field Coordinator, Arco Oil and Gas as Exploration Data Analyst Supervisor, and Continental Laboratories as Field Supervisor/Hydrocarbon Well Analyst. Hugh Tate holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
