John Boothe P.e.

John Boothe, P.E. has extensive experience in civil engineering, currently serving as an Engineer 5 at the Louisiana Department Of Transportation and Development since January 2016. Previously, John held the position of Project Manager on the Bridge Design Team at Louisiana State University from January to May 2015, where a four-person team designed a replacement bridge using AASHTO LRFD Design Specifications. Prior to that role, John worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Jong Jung, conducting thermal conductivity and consolidation tests on soil samples. Early professional experience includes a lengthy tenure at Office Depot, where John managed customer service and store operations from May 1993 to November 2011. John earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University between 2012 and 2015.
