Samuel Cooper Ph.d., P.e.

Samuel Cooper, Ph.D., P.E., currently serves as Materials Research Administrator and has held various roles including Asphalt Research Manager and Asphalt Research Engineer at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development since January 2012. Samuel also contributes to academia as an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Louisiana State University, where involvement began in August 2015. Earlier experience includes a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at Louisiana State University from August 2008 to May 2015 and an internship as a Roadway Design Engineer at DRMP from December 2007 to August 2008. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
