Jay Efferson

Jay Efferson, MBA, currently serves as IT Statewide Director 3 at the Louisiana Office of Technology Services and as Statewide IT Director 3 for the State of Louisiana, roles held since May 2018. Efferson's previous experience includes positions such as I.S. Project Manager, Senior Server Analyst, and Research and Planning Specialist at the City/Parish of Baton Rouge from February 2012 to May 2018, as well as PC & LAN Specialist at East Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Services and Network Technician II at City/Parish of Baton Rouge. Military experience includes serving as Network Security Manager and Network Infrastructure Technician in the United States Air Force from June 2003 to September 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology, both earned from Columbia Southern University.
