Alan J. Yacoubian is an experienced attorney who has held various legal positions in different organizations. Currently serving as General Counsel at Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana and the Louisiana Restaurant Association, Alan also served as a Member of the Board at the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and the Bureau of Governmental Research. Alan also had experience as a Talk Show Host for the Louisiana Prep Report on WGSO-990 AM. With a Juris Doctorate-Honors in Litigation from Tulane Law School, Alan also holds a B.A. Honors in Political Science from Tulane University.

Since it was founded in 1946, the LRA has provided advocacy for Louisiana's restaurant and hospitality industries. As a membership trade association, we represent the interests of the industry at the federal, state, and local levels in the legislative and regulatory arenas. Since 1981, the LRA Workers' Comp has provided coverage specifically for restaurant and hospitality businesses.
