Sarah Wade

Sarah Wade, MBA, serves as a Budget Analyst for the Louisiana Special School District since April 2024, previously holding the position of Budget Analyst IV at the Louisiana Department of Education from January 2023 to April 2024. Prior to that, Sarah accumulated experience as Budget Analyst III and II at the Louisiana Department Of Transportation and Development between June 2020 and January 2023, and as an Accountant II and I at the Louisiana Secretary of State from March 2019 to June 2020. Sarah's early career includes roles at Best Buy as a Mobile, Apple Mobility, and Smart Home Consultant between October 2017 and October 2019, and experience in accounts payable at Southern University and A&M College from January 2018 to March 2018. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University (2020-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern University and A&M College (2016-2018), along with attendance at Baton Rouge Community College and a high school diploma from Brusly High School (2009-2013).
