Dayne Freeman, JD, MBA, and PMP, currently serves as Director at Guidehouse, previously Grant Thornton Public Sector, since November 2021. With extensive experience in public service, Freeman has held the position of Chief of Appeals at the Louisiana Workforce Commission since January 2011, where significant improvements were made in the management of unemployment insurance appeals. Other notable roles include Assistant Secretary at the Maryland Department of Labor, where responsibilities involved overseeing various operational areas, and founding Grantable Solutions LLC, a grant proposal writing firm. Freeman also practiced law as Managing Partner at Freeman Law Firm, LLC, served as an Administrative Law Judge, and held managerial positions in the cable television industry. Freeman holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a JD from LSU Paul M. Hebert School of Law, and a BA from Mount Holyoke College.
