Harold J Adams

Harold J Adams is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public information and marketing strategies. Currently serving as Communications Manager and Public Information Officer at Louisville MSD since July 2019, Adams focuses on establishing communication strategies and leading tactical planning. Previously, as Communications & Marketing Supervisor, efforts included developing communication approaches and supervising content creators. From November 2013 to July 2019, Adams worked as a Communications Specialist for Louisville Metro Government, where responsibilities included designing communication strategies for the Department of Public Works. Adams began career as a Reporter for The Courier-Journal, where innovative use of social media helped transition the publication to a digital-first operation. Academic credentials include an MBA in Management and a BS in Political Science/Policy Analysis from the University of Louisville.
