Jessica Chancey

Jessica Chancey is a skilled classical flutist with extensive experience in various orchestras and ensembles. Currently serving as a Piccolo for the Louisville Orchestra since May 2023, Chancey also performs as a substitute musician for The Cleveland Orchestra and is a member of the Canton Symphony Orchestra. As a professional musician since 2009, Chancey has garnered acclaim for a beautiful, elegant sound and adeptness in handling complex solo sections. Additionally, Chancey is part of the Catharsis Wind Quintet, which presents innovative interpretations of classic and modern works. Beyond performance, Chancey has contributed to the Cleveland Institute of Music as a Distance Learning Technician and House Manager, as well as teaching music at the Cleveland School of the Arts. Chancey holds a Bachelor's degree in Flute Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
