Ron Burse is an experienced professional in economic development and volunteer engagement, currently serving as the Director of Business Attraction at the Louisville Economic Development Alliance since January 2022. Previously, Ron held the position of Economic Development Manager focusing on Health & Aging Innovation. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Volunteer Engagement at Dare to Care Food Bank, where significant volunteer coordination efforts were implemented. Ron also worked at the University of Louisville as a Program Coordinator for the University Career Center, facilitating internships for over 1,600 students, and held various roles in communications and student life at institutions such as Kentucky State University and Illinois State University. Ron holds a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Northern Kentucky University.
