Daria Kotelenets

Daria Kotelenets has over 8 years of work experience in the field of quality assurance (QA) and software testing. Daria currently serves as the Head of QA at Loupe, where they are responsible for coordinating QA-related activities, line management of QA engineers, Jira administration, and assessing team performance and process maturity. Daria also mentors and coaches team members to achieve high performance. Prior to Loupe, Daria worked as a QA Lead at the same company.

Daria also has experience as a part-time lecturer at Uzhhorod Informational Technologies School, where they taught a course on "QA Manual." Daria has worked as an AQA Engineer and Release Manager at nowhere Group Ltd, where they performed automation testing using a Ruby-based framework and oversaw the full cycle of manual testing. Daria was also responsible for defining the scope of testing and prioritizing testing activities within each release.

Daria has contributed to the field of software testing as the founder of Project "QIB" ISTQB Interactive Course at StrongQA, Ltd. Daria was responsible for creating the content and logic of a mobile application aimed at helping IT professionals gain practical knowledge and obtain ISTQB certifications. Additionally, Daria worked as a part-time lecturer for an ISTQB course at QALight.

Earlier in their career, Daria worked as a QA Engineer at Open Media Group and as an Analyst of Consolidated Information at World Data Center-Ukraine.

Daria Kotelenets began their education at the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' in 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Management degree in 2013. During this time, they focused on the field of study in management. Daria continued their education at the same university and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Modelling & Computational Economics, which they completed in 2014.

In addition to their undergraduate studies, Daria also pursued a Master of Management degree at the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from 2013 to 2014.

Alongside their formal education, Daria obtained various certifications. In 2014, they received the ISTQB Certified Tester FL certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In 2015, they attended the Certified Ethical Hacker program and received a certificate of attendance from EC-Council.

More recently, Daria obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2018, they completed the Business Analysis Big Bang 5.0 program by E5. In 2020, they became a Professional Scrum Master I through Scrum.org.

In 2023, Daria acquired several additional certifications. Daria completed the Lean Six Sigma Program and Project Management course offered by ISCEA - International Supply Chain Education Alliance.
