Kira Johnson is a dedicated behavior therapist with extensive experience in applying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles at the Lovaas Institute Midwest since November 2015, focusing on adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Responsibilities include improving clients' communication, academic, social, and behavioral skills, as well as data collection and documentation of progress. Prior to this role, Kira served as an eating disorder technician at The Emily Program, where responsibilities encompassed working with a multi-disciplinary team, facilitating group sessions, and providing support to residents throughout their treatment. Kira holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Rehabilitation/Human Services from the University of North Dakota.
