Swathi Venugopal has been working in the field since 2016. Swathi began their career as a Web Content Writer at Kendal & Co. Swathi then moved to Smart Exim General Trading LLC as a Sales and Marketing Intern in 2016. In 2017, they were an Admin and Marketing Executive at Safehead Inc. and a Marketing Executive Intern at Pinnacle Middle East. In 2018, they became a Marketing Project Coordinator at Aiwa. Currently, they are a Research Team Lead and Research Executive at Love That Design.

Swathi Venugopal obtained their Bachelor's in Commerce with a focus in International Business/Marketing from the University of Wollongong in Dubai between 2013 and 2016.
