Erin Foster

Director, Project Management, Lovelace Health System at Lovelace Health System

Erin Foster has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Erin began their career as a Case Management Intern at IRC in 2009, where they facilitated refugee health and development through individualized orientations and assistance with social service referrals. Erin also promoted child welfare by creating a Childcare Provider Directory for each refugee community and supported clients' financial well-being through the development and management of resettlement and self-sufficiency plans.

From 2010 to 2017, Erin worked at Ashley Addiction Treatment as the Manager of Utilization Review and Quality Improvement. In this role, they supervised performance improvement projects for various committees, facilitated meetings and trainings, and analyzed performance data to identify quality and efficiency gaps. Additionally, Erin directed Quality Improvement Process Action projects as needed.

In 2017, Erin joined UNM Hospitals, initially as a Pediatric Hospice Volunteer. During their time there, they provided art therapy and yoga to children and families facing life-threatening diseases. Erin also launched a Facebook campaign to establish a support forum for Mariposa family members and supported bereaved families at the Annual Memorial Service. Later on, they became a Quality Consultant, leading interdisciplinary performance improvement teams, presenting data to staff and leadership, and ensuring regulatory readiness through surveys and environmental rounding.

Most recently, Erin Foster has taken on the role of Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Lovelace Health System, starting in 2021.

Erin Foster attended Temple University from 2011 to 2013, where they studied Global Public Health. In 2013, they completed the Jivan Yoga Teacher Training at Baltimore Yoga Village, earning a 200 RYT certification in various yoga practices. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cultural Anthropology from Towson University. Currently, Erin is enrolled at Capella University and is expected to receive a Master of Health Administration in 2024. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including TEFL from TEFL Express in 2015, Professional Healthcare Management from McKesson in July 2012, and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in December 2019. Erin is also a Registered Yoga Teacher 200 certified by Yoga Alliance.
