Jeffrey Lovell

Jeff is Co-Chairman of LMP and co-founded the Firm in 1999. Jeff co-chairs the firm’s Board of Managers and is a member of the Investment Committee. Prior the founding of LMP, he co-founded Putnam Lovell Group Inc. (“Putnam Lovell”) in 1987. In his years at Putnam Lovell, Jeff served as President and Vice Chairman through its development from a single office, M&A advisory firm to a full-service investment bank serving financial institutions worldwide from offices in the U.S. and London. Putnam Lovell became widely recognized as a prominent boutique firm in global financial services and Jeff served as the senior investment banker on numerous mergers and acquisitions. Prior to the founding of Putnam Lovell, from 1976 through 1987, Jeff held various executive positions at SEI Investments and led the development of its international business.

Jeff is a member of the Boards of Directors of TortoiseEcoFin Investments and 361 Capital. Jeff is also Chairman of the Board of Matthews International Capital Management. Among others, prior board positions include Duff & Phelps Corporation and Mercer Advisors. Jeff is an active alumnus of the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is a Board Member Emeritus of the Leeds School of Business and was a member of the Investment Committee of the University of Colorado Foundation for over a decade. Jeff earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration, cum laude in Finance, from the Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado.
