Jenny Stanchak

Jenny Stanchak is the founder and CTO of Loveseat, a social media platform for connecting people with shared interests. Jenny previously worked as a software engineer at Venmo.com, where they were employee #7 and led the customer service and fraud protection engineering team. Jenny also worked on the core payments code and developed fraud detection algorithms. Jenny has significant experience with bank transfers and online payments.

Prior to their work at Venmo, Jenny was a math teacher at Vaux High School in Philadelphia. Jenny also participated in the Philadelphia Teacher Residency Program through the Philadelphia Education Fund. Jenny began their career in finance, working as a financial analyst at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Jenny holds a degree from the Wharton School, where they were a management 100 TA for three years. Jenny interned at Deutsche Bank during the summer of 2007 and worked there as an investment banking analyst in the financial sponsors group from June 2008 to September 2008.
