Who you are

A dedicated accountant to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this role is crucial for overseeing various financial processes, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and receivable management, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc P&L analysis.

What you'll do

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of expenses, billing, invoice verification, and payment submissions.
• Generate reports and maintain records for key management reports.
• Assist in the preparation, examination, and analysis of financial records and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance to maintain internal controls, including cash management and deposits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to automation initiatives.
• Manage inventory records and reconcile logistics and transport-related costs.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting tasks.
• Handle office supplies, equipment and maintain inventory.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
