Antonio Pacheco de Castro has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Antonio started their career as a Consulting Associate Summer Internship at EUROGROUP CONSULTING Deutschland in 2013. Antonio then interned at EDP as a Strategy & Finance Project Intern, where they developed a financial model and presented the results to the Board.
In 2014, Antonio joined J.P. Morgan as an Analyst, enrolling in the Analyst Program. Antonio completed trainings in financial analysis, modeling, and proposals in New York and London.
In 2017, Antonio joined Grupo XP as a Portfolio Manager, specializing in Portfolio Management. As a founding team member of the European office, they led the setup of investment solutions and operations. Grupo XP is Brazil's largest fintech and independent investment company.
Most recently, Antonio joined Lovys in 2019 as the CFO.
Antonio Pacheco de Castro has a diverse education history. In 2021, they completed an Executive Program at INSEAD, focusing on the transition to General Management. Antonio also holds a Master's degree in Economics, with a major in Macroeconomics of Financial Markets, which they obtained from Nova School of Business and Economics from 2012 to 2014.
During their Master's program, Antonio pursued an international education, as evidenced by their participation in the CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education program at Nova School of Business and Economics from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they completed a short-term Master's degree in International Management at Università Bocconi in 2013.
Antonio's educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. Before that, they attended the German School of Lisbon, where they obtained an ABITUR in General Studies from 1998 to 2009.
Throughout their academic journey, Antonio has also attained professional certifications. In December 2014, they passed Level I of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Program offered by the CFA Institute.
