Amos Carrington

General Counsel & Company Secretary at Low Carbon

Amos Carrington has extensive legal experience, currently serving as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Low Carbon since May 2018, where Amos also holds the title of Head of Legal. Prior roles include Senior Legal Counsel for the Mining sector at ArcelorMittal from April 2017 to April 2018, and Head of Legal as well as Senior Legal Counsel at Seven Energy International from January 2015 to April 2017. Amos began a legal career at Herbert Smith Freehills, progressing from Trainee Solicitor to Senior Associate between August 2004 and January 2015. Additional experience includes a position as Secondee Lawyer at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. and Legal Secondee at the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC). Amos holds a MA in Philosophy and Classical Studies from the University of St Andrews, a GDL and LPC in Law from Nottingham Trent University, and a MA (JYA) in Philosophy and Classical Studies from UC San Diego.
