Seamus Bonner is a highly engaged community leader with extensive experience in various roles supporting marine and community development. Currently serving as a Board Member for Low Impact Fishers of Europe since November 2021, Seamus also leads the Arranmore Island Chapter for Grow Remote and holds the position of Secretary for both the Irish Islands Marine Resource Organisation and Árainn Mhór Island Community Council. Additionally, Seamus has served as a mentor for CoderDojo and as a lifeboat crew member for RNLI Arranmore since 2002. Past leadership roles include managing the Arranmore Development & Employment Co-Op and serving as a Development Officer for the National Rural Development Programme. Seamus holds a BSc in Applied Microbiology from NUI Galway, completed further studies in Community Development, Outdoor Education, and Distilling, showcasing a diverse educational background that complements a strong commitment to community service.
