David Fillio

Chief of Clinical Operations at Lowell House Addiction Treatment and Recovery

David Fillio has been at Lowell House since April, 2020 when he joined the team as the Clinical Director at Men's Recovery Home in Tewksbury. In April, 2021 he transitioned to a role of senior leadership as the Clinical Director of Ambulatory Care at Lowell House's Jackson Street location. David attended the dual degree graduate program at UNH where he received a Master in Social Work and a Master in Science for Adventure Therapy: the latter of which intentionally incorporates elements of novelty and perceived risk into clinical interventions for participants. David has 10 years of experience working with at-risk youth and families involved with child protection agencies, as well as 5 years of experience in Adventure Therapy program development in community-based settings. David has shown an ability to help develop strong, cohesive teams from within his positions of leadership and believes before any program can grow it must have a strong foundation of relationships between the members in it.
